A good number of our members took a drive out to the home of Barbara Keller in East Marion, where all were treated to a wonderful lunch after learning how to “gild the gourds”. Tina and Penny provided us with pumpkins and small gourds, paints and gold leaf and demonstrated the technique of gilding. Seeing Barbara’s craft workroom and some of her creations was very inspiring, and everyone loved taking home an original piece for their fall decor.
